Towards a Holistic Approach for Sustainable Partner Selection in the Electrics and Electronics Industry

In recent years numerous publications in the field of Supply Chain Management have dealt with partner selection methods. So far, research has failed to offer a holistic approach for the selection of recycling partners that accounts for financial, social and environmental factors. In view of this fact, our article aims at developing an integrated multi-criteria decision model (MCDM) that supports recycling partner selection in the electrics and electronics industry. Based on a systematic literature review we identify limitations of existing approaches and design an integrated Fuzzy-AHP-TOPSIS model. In addition, relevant criteria for sustainable partner selection are determined. The approach is illustrated by means of an exemplary case study.
